Mauro Negri

Clarinetist-saxophonist-composer-arranger, Mauro Negri was born in Mantua in 1966, the same city where he completed his classical studies, graduating in clarinet with Maestro Giovanni Bertolini. During this period of academic studies, he carried out a busy concert activity, performing in duos and other chamber ensembles with the pianist Marino Nicolini.
He currently holds the chair of Jazz Composition at the “L. Campiani” in Mantua, where he also teaches jazz clarinet, harmony, arrangement, and ensemble music.
